Ben Hunter, Paula Schultz and Joseph Cochrane formed Springboard Productions in 2004 to help compensate for the staggering lack of new faces in the Toronto theatre scene.
Time after time, actors get turned down for parts they could play, because of typecasting, lack of experience or nepotism. They don’t know the right people, didn’t go to the right school or don’t have the right look so they are turned away.
Springboard is dedicated to turning that trend around.
